Probiotics are latest additions to the animal feeds. The gut
micro flora consists of variety of bacteria and yeasts. The gut
micro flora play an important role in digestion of food,
metabolism of complex substances which then can be absorbed by
the animal. The other functions of gut micro flora is to
assist the host to combat diseases and other related stresses. A
novel combination of BETALAC provides many
advantages to the animals.
COMPOSITION :
YEAST CULTURE: It is
complex product that contains intracellular yeast cell nutrients
and extra cellular metabolites of fermentation. The yeast cell
wall provides B-glucans and mannans. The yeast cell wall has an
unique ability to absorb toxins, anti-vitamins, virus and
pathogenic bacteria and is presumed to have a protective effect
on gut.
LACTIC ACID BACILLUS:
These spore forming bacteria aid in the acidification of gut and
prevent the colonization of pathogenic bacteria. They produce
active lactic acid and digestive enzymes such as amylases,
proteases and lipases for better digestion.
BETAINE: A natural beet sugar
(trimethylglycine) which helps in osmotic balance by elevating
the gill Na-K ATPase activity.
