Poultry
economics today revolves around efficient productivity
apart from
biosecurity and management etc., The high feed costs
and low chicken and
egg prices have reduced the margins considerably. A
good quality feed alone
is insuficient to convert the nutrients into the ultimate
product (meat or eggs).
Intestinal integrity is known to play a vital role in
the economics of the poultry
farming, both in the case of commercial broiler birds
as well as the laying
hens. Certain bacterial organisms, especially Clostridium
perfringens lead to
enteritis and affect the integrity of normal intestine,
which leads to poor
absorption of nutrients.
Enteritis has been an important factor in nutrient availability
and the
growth of the bird. Thereby birds do not achieve the
required standard body
weights, which have an effect on the performance and
profitability. This has
been proved causing poor weight gains and high FCR in
commercial broilers. In case of layer chicks inadequate
weights lead to morbidity, susceptibility to disease,
and delayed laying. The impact on performance and profitability
is immense.
Hence maintaining intestinal integrity becomes a critical
factor in the economics. Gromax, a scientifically blended
combination of Avilamycin at 2%
w/w and acids assists the birds to maintain intestinal
integrity.
RECOMMENDATION :
For the control and treatment of Necrotic Enteritis
caused by Clostridium perfringens.
COMPOSITION :
Active ingredients
: Avilamycin 2% (w/w), Organic acids and Stabilizers.
DOSAGE
:
For Broilers
: 250 gms / ton of feed regularly.
For Layer grower chicks : From day 1 - 18th week
: 500 gms/ ton of feed or
as
advised by your consultant.
Avilamycin helps supplement good feed by :
FExtra
energy by producing more VFA through fermentation of
dietary
residual materials.
FIncreases
energy by sparing glucose which would have been otherwise
used for other purposes.
FIncreases
nitrogen availability.
FIt
has the lowest MICs against Clostridia, an important
causative factor
on enteritis.
