Dissolved oxygen is the most critical variable in aquaculture.
Oxygen exerts a tremendous effect on the growth and production
through its direct effect on feed consumption and metabolism and
its indirect effect on environmental conditions. Oxygen affects
the availability of many nutrients lack of dissolved oxygen can
be directly harmful to prawns or cause substantial
increase in the level of toxic metabolites. It is therefore
important to continuously maintain dissolved oxygen at optimal
levels of above 3.5 ppm. The unique chemical composition of
PRIME OXY-GEN
generates dissolved oxygen, adsorbs noxious gases at the pond
bottom which helps the prawns and also aerobic bacteria to
reduce the levels of organic load. The sustained release
formulation ensures a steady supply of dissolved oxygen thereby
